Description
- Double-SS-Gold is a microbial agent used for compost formation from raw
materials such as oil meal, bean husk, rice straw, grain bran, and manure.
Microorganisms included are Bacillus subtilis 1722, Saccharomyces cerevisiae,
Aspergillus fumigatus, Streptomyces rimosus, and photosynthetic purple bacteria
sp. Through the actions of these thermophilic and mesophilic microorganisms,
high molecular weight organic materials are degraded to readily available
small compounds for efficient plant absorption, odor causing substances are
degraded and/or eliminated, gas production is inhibited, proliferation of
harmful microorganisms is suppressed, and the nitrogen and carbon content
are increased to enhance the fertilizing efficacy of the compost. Besides
producing high quality compost, Double-SS-Gold can be successfully employed
in odor reduction in livestock/poultry facilities and traditional bathroom
facilities. Because Double-SS-Gold can degrade various organic materials,
it can also be used in the formation of animal feedstock from food waste.
Since Double-SS-Gold is formulated with GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe)
microorganisms and other natural materials, the produced compost has no harmful
effect to humans, as well as to the environment. Agriculture practice employing
Double-SS-Gold can be certified as organic farming.
- Maximum effect of Double-SS-Gold is dependent upon specific application
guidelines developed for producing high quality compost without gas or odor
problems. When used as part of a complete crop management program, Double-SS-Gold
will be an excellent addition to maximize the production.
