Company Introduction

MEGA Biotech, located in Daegu in the southeastern region of Republic of
Korea, is a manufacturer of environment-friendly microbial agents. Our company
logo is a simplified version of a segment of DNA double helix. This is
to imply



that our biotech business originates from DNA, the foundation of life.
In addition to the meaning of 'Big' or‘Great’, MEGA stands for Microbes
for the Environment Ground and Agriculture, which shows the business spectrum
of our company; researching and developing various microbial agents that are good
for the environment, ground, and agriculture.

From the opening of the distribution business in 1992 to present, MEGA Biotech
has grown extensively; factory was completed in 1996 and the company affiliated
Biotechnology Research Institute was opened with the research theme of "Microbial
Control Agent and Diagnostics of Plant Disease." Last year, MEGA Biotech
has been registered as the first domestic manufacturer for microbial control
agents. We were also recognized as one of the 'Innovative Business of the
year 2001" from Korean Small and Medium Business Administration.

Year 2002 will be another big step for us at MEGA Biotech; we are planning
and working to be listed on the Kosdaq (Korean equivalent to Nasdaq) stock market.
With a minimum goal of $8 million domestic sales, we will face the market with
new technically innovative products and new marketing strategy. Effective management
will also follow to maximize the net profit yield.
